Instagram’s map feature has now arrived in Finland. You can easily find the map by opening Instagram and going to “Direct Messages”—the map should open automatically there, providing users with information.
Instagram’s map feature is being rolled out gradually to all devices, and it should now be working in Finland as well. For security reasons, this map feature must be manually enabled. It’s also not recommended to share your location with unknown followers—only with friends and family.
Instagram has modeled this feature after Snapchat’s “SnapMap.” SnapMap was launched in June 2017.
